Lore: The Golden Goddess was the one that paved the roads of civilization and brought together neighbors and nations. The Golden Goddess reveres trade, industry, and profit for all. The coinage of all civilized lands bears some colloquial image of the Goddess’s likeness or symbol to honor Her. Any merchant and Guild that does not honor the Golden Goddess surely fall to poverty and ruin. The Golden Goddess does not value greed, even though many of her followers stray from that teaching.
