The Rotting God - Tarot Card

"The Rotting God" is a card representing a Deity owned by my client.
As all things come to an end and meet the Caretaker, the Rotting God takes pleasure in smothering the flames of life before the appointed time. The Rotting God thrives on the bodies of would-be heroes, struck down before achieving their goals. The Rotting God would have you believe he afflicts only the dead, however many living souls feel the gnawing of the Rot. Those who try to come to terms with their loss or failure or let self-doubt linger for too long in their mind find their strength sapped away as the Rotting God lingers in their shadow. Always the voice of accusing failure can be heard in moments of uncertainty, filling stalwart souls with the seeds of doubt that bloom and grow in the sickening garden of the Rotting God.
