"The Storm" is a card owned by my client.
The seasons and weather of Etheron bow not even to the reigning deities, for they are the wild children of the lost Creator, and they are said to mourn the loss of their master. The Storm is power incarnate, with gales and squalls that can sink even the most sturdy of ships and crews - and batter down high towers and fortified stone. The Storm exists to uproot and change, it is both Herald and Effector of it.
Only the Drowned God does not fear the Storm, who is also an expression of the destructive, tempestuous powers of Etheron. Many/most who make offerings to the Drowned God do so that they might be protected from the malevolent Storm.
The Drowned God seeks to bring destruction in order for new strength to take root and replace the old - but the Storm has no such desires, it is apathy. The Storm strikes at random, at the changing of the wind. Whether it is a desert whirlwind, a true tempest, an encompassing hurricane, or a blizzard that bears the biting frost - all are forms of the Storm, and each brings death, and change through its destruction.
