The Children

"The Children" is a card owned by my client.
The Children represent all things that grow and find their path forward through the tangle that is Etheron. Depicted as 4 young children, two boys and two girls, dressed in plain clothes (some depictions have them wearing bucket helmets and wielding training swords in their readiness for adventure) - the only thing marking them apart from normal children are their luminous wings (each depicting a different aspect of Dawn, Dusk, the Moon, and the Stars). In the old stories, the Children most often intertwine with other luminaries associated with Destiny, as the Children exemplify the starting point of all great heroes, a point of all potential. Where other Luminaries of destiny might view it as a tight binding, the Children know that destiny is a spread of vast potential, and it is for each mortal to make their way within their paths.
